Moccona is a coffee brand is produced and trade under D.E Master Blenders 1753 NV. In 2015, the merger between D.E Master Blenders 1753 and the coffee division of Mondelez International created Jacobs Douwe Egberts.
The Moccona story began in The Netherlands where Jacobs Douwe Egberts was established as De Witte Os, in 1753. This company with a small store selling coffee, tea and tobacco.
Later the company was taken over by Sara Lee Corporation.
Douwe Egberts went to the stock market under its own, slightly embellished name as D.E Master Blenders 1753 NV.
